The New Avenues was a band that my friend Keegan started wayyyyy back in the day. It's heavy on the powerpop a la Weezer and the Cars. It's good stuff. Keegan's one of those dudes who plays pretty much every instrument and knows his way around a hook. I highly recommend this as it's a bonafide summer jam.
Homedude has a new project called Anti-Aging, also worth checking out. Maybe if I stop being lazy, I'll post the demo up here.
